HPTi fuels the passions of employees to continuously grow in their careers and gain the expertise needed to pursue exciting work. In 2010, nearly a third of the company participated in the education reimbursement program, and a third of those people pursued advanced degrees. HPTi also offered scores of internal training courses ranging in topics from video editing to leadership—a unit specially prepared and taught by HPTi president Tim Keenan. HPTi also creates an environment where employees can share their excitement and passion for their work and accomplishments. In 2010, the company sponsored an internal trade show that allowed each project team to highlight its successes and accomplishments. Regardless of travel time and distance, employees from across the country came to the event.
