"Many companies say they care about their community, but I get to see HPTi back up that claim with opportunities to volunteer and serve. At the DC Central Kitchen, I saw the effect of our efforts as the meals we prepared were distributed to the needy, and at Relay for Life, I saw a huge team of HPTi volunteers come together to battle cancer. I love seeing the human impact of HPTi's community outreach."

HPTi is a company governed by its core values. One of the ways we demonstrate our core values is through service to our communities. We believe that improving the quality of life for others improves our quality of life as well.

HPTi Sponsors Youth Activities

HPTi is committed to developing and encouraging the youth in the communities where we work. Honoring this commitment, HPTi directly sponsors several youth teams and organizations. We have sponsored dozens of sports teams, scout groups, and orchestras. We see any activity that fosters team work and development in our youth as a wise investment.

Additionally, many of HPTi's employees feel compelled to serve as coaches and mentors. HPTi's President, Tim Keenan, serves on the Fairfax Partnership for Youth, an organization dedicated to eliminating gangs in Fairfax County, Virginia, by promoting productive outlets for youth through mentoring and counseling programs.

HPTi Participates in Charitable Events and Programs

HPTi employees are very conscious of the needs in our communities and our country. Many employees have participated in races and fundraisers for charitable causes. As a corporation, HPTi sponsors many of these employees in their efforts, organizes drives, and contributes to various charities. Recently, HPTi matched employee contributions for Haiti earthquake victims. In order to make HPTi as successful as possible in its giving, HPTi has formed a community service commitee that identifies needs in the community and measures HPTi's effectiveness in meeting those needs.
