Core Values

Great Team

Teams and teamwork are terms that are sometimes overused. Teams are not just groups of people who receive e-mails from their leader that say "Dear Team." No, what teams are really about are "people, doing something together." In fact, the word team comes from how oxen are yoked together to generate a focused, driving force that can move heavy loads.

Whether it be oxen-size strength or technological brainpower, what's important here is the awesome power of a driven team at work. Dwight Eisenhower once said that he would rather have one person working with him than three working for him. For Eisenhower, working together with someone was more satisfying than simply directing others to implement his ideas. Working together yields a creative force that is virtually impossible without a team.

At HPTi, our people and our teams are our strength. We strive to find and hire the best, and we are skilled at accomplishing that. Just look around and you will see some of the smartest, most creative people in the market—bar none. What forms our differentiator in the marketplace, however, is how we integrate these highly skilled individuals into synergistic teams.

At HPTi, the old adage of team—Together Everyone Accomplishes More—couldn't be more true, because what really makes HPTi work is the individual commitment of our people to a team effort. This blending of strengths into unified teams yields benefits such as:

  • Increased Productivity
  • Increased Creativity
  • Enhanced Communication and Morale
  • Improved Processes
  • Efficiency of Resources
  • Quality

  • Team and teamwork are easy words to say and write, but they are sometimes difficult to manage and empower. Great teams are a centerpiece at HPTi, and we will continue to foster an environment that both embraces teams and emboldens the individuals within them to achieve what they could never do alone.
