HPTi offers a number of internships every summer. We seek out students who are about to enter their final year of college and are enrolled in Computer Science, Information Systems & Technology, and Systems Engineering programs. We accept resumes from September through January and interview candidates from January until April. Most of our internships are located in the greater Washington D.C. area. Interns at HPTi can expect real project experience, training, and networking events. Interns are selected based on their skill-sets and potential and placed on projects that best align with those qualifications. The specific projects available to our interns are as diverse as the company's contract mix. For instance, one intern in 2008 helped HPTi's corporate team research, evaluate, select, and implement new business management software that is now used throughout the firm. Interns also enjoy networking events like a trip to see the Nationals and an evening of go-cart racing.
