HPTi University

HPTi gives direction to professional growth. Without flexibility and deliberate design, a person's pursuit of education can become an ineffective collection of random certificates, courses, and training sessions. HPTi works with employees to identify and provide meaningful educational experiences. HPTi is so dedicated to this idea that we created HPTi University—a program that offers education in the form of advanced degree and certificate sponsorship, leadership training, specialized training, and a knowledge-sharing forum called the Learning Café.

Formal Degrees

HPTi employees may pursue continuing, formal education (bachelor, master, or even doctorate degrees) to enhance their professional development. Our investment in your education is also an investment in the company. As you gain more knowledge, you are able to apply it to the important work we do for our clients. You will work with your manager to identify courses at accredited colleges, universities, or technical institutions that are relevant to your professional growth. HPTi covers the cost of tuition, books, and certain other fees.

Career Development Training

HPTi also reimburses employees for earning technical and professional certifications and awards bonuses for these accomplishments. Certifications are meant to help you in your career progression. Certifications can focus on specific software knowledge or nationally recognized programs like the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Leadership Training

HPTi has several internally developed classes covering a wide range of topics. These specialized courses provide training unique to HPTi's business. HPTi President, Tim Keenan, personally teaches some of the project management and orientation classes. Mr. Keenan also teaches our leadership training, which was created to fulfill HPTi's vision of creating an environment that develops "Knowledge Leaders" at all levels of seniority within the firm.

Specialized Training

In addition to the leadership courses, HPTi offers courses that include topics such as proposal development, project management, effective goal setting, and security workshops. HPTi continues to add to its curriculum of training and constantly works to improve existing courses.

Knowledge Sharing—The Learning Café

HPTi is populated by people who are willing and empowered to take the initiative within their jobs and within the company. Learning Café presentations are initiated, developed, and presented by HPTi employees who see a need and want to share knowledge with their coworkers. Topics for these lunchtime information sessions have included tips and tricks for various Office software, introductions and discussions of new programming tools, and even a presentation on robotic soccer!
